Terms of Service

The monthly fair-use limit on Submit a Request (sections 3.3 and 5) takes effect on September 14, 2026. The 1,000-character limit on each message is already in effect.

Welcome to Quran Aligned. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Quran Aligned mobile application (the "App") and any related services provided by JOY Cre8v Media LLC ("Quran Aligned," "we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the App only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using the App, you represent that you meet these requirements.

2. Your account

Some features require you to create an account. You agree to provide accurate and current information, to keep your password confidential, and to be responsible for activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us at support@quranaligned.com if you suspect any unauthorized access.

3. Subscription terms

3.1 Plans and pricing

Quran Aligned offers an auto-renewing Premium subscription with two plans:

Premium Monthly — $4.99 USD per month.
Premium Yearly — $49.99 USD per year.

Purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) on iOS devices and by Google (Google Play) on Android devices. Prices in other currencies are set by Apple or Google based on their pricing systems and may differ slightly due to exchange rates and local taxes. The price displayed in the App at the time of purchase is the price you will be charged.

3.2 Billing and auto-renewal

Premium subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your Apple ID or Google account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.

You can view, manage, and cancel your subscription at any time:

On iOS: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, or visit https://apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.
On Android: Play Store → your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, or visit https://play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions.

3.3 Premium features

An active Premium subscription unlocks the following features:

Deeds Balance — full browsing and content access.
Deeds Evaluation — the complete self-evaluation flow.
Submit a Request — the Quran-content submission workflow, subject to the fair-use limits described in section 5.
Track Progress — marking items as read/done across the App.

Free, registered users can continue to access Daily Truth, Daily Quiz, Quran Insights, and basic Quran Check browsing.

3.4 Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple or Google under their standard store terms, and refund requests are handled by them, not by us. On iOS, request a refund from Apple at https://reportaproblem.apple.com. On Android, request a refund from Google Play at https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/2479637.

3.5 Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, after which you will lose access to premium features. We do not pro-rate or refund partial subscription periods.

3.6 Family Sharing

Premium subscriptions are not available through Apple Family Sharing or Google Play Family Library.

4. Content of the App

Quran Aligned presents content drawn from and grounded in the Quran. We aim to present that content faithfully and respectfully. The App is offered as a tool for personal reflection, learning, and remembrance — not as a substitute for personal study, scholarly guidance, or spiritual direction from a qualified teacher. Any interpretation or application of religious content is your own responsibility.

5. Submitting requests and support messages

Submit a Request is for short, specific questions about Quranic content — for example:

What a particular verse means.
Whether a specific belief, practice, or claim is found in the Quran.
A possible error in content shown in the App.

It is not a research service. We are not able to accept requests to prepare essays, dissertations, sermons, or extended comparative studies, or to answer questions unrelated to the Quran.

Support is for problems with the App or your account — signing in, subscriptions, billing, and technical faults.

To keep the review queue workable, submissions are subject to fair-use limits: each message must be 1,000 characters or less, and from September 14, 2026 you may submit a maximum of 10 requests through Submit a Request in any calendar month. If you have a genuine need to exceed these limits, contact us and we will do our best to help.

We may decline, close, or not respond to submissions that fall outside these purposes, and we may limit or withdraw access to these features where they are used abusively.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the App for any illegal purpose, or in violation of any applicable laws.
Interfere with or attempt to disrupt the operation of the App, its servers, or any related infrastructure.
Attempt to bypass any security, authentication, or subscription gating.
Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access or download App content at scale.
Submit content that is unlawful, offensive, defamatory, or that infringes another person's rights.
Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the App's source code, except where this restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
Use Submit a Request or Support for purposes other than those described in section 5, including as a general research, writing, or translation service.
Submit more than 10 requests through Submit a Request in any calendar month (from September 14, 2026), or split a single long request across multiple submissions to work around the length limit. These fair-use limits protect the review queue; if you have a genuine need to exceed them, contact us.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these terms.

7. Intellectual property

The App, its design, source code, brand, logo, original content, and all related materials are owned by JOY Cre8v Media LLC and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Quranic verses themselves are not subject to copyright; our presentation, layout, translations chosen, organization, and software implementation are.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on devices you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.

8. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. YOU USE THE APP AT YOUR OWN RISK.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL JOY CRE8V MEDIA LLC, ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, OR PROFITS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $50.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JOY Cre8v Media LLC and its officers, employees, agents, and affiliates from any claim, demand, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the App or your violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the App. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) will continue to apply.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the App will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, and you and Quran Aligned consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

13. Apple- and Google-specific terms

You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and JOY Cre8v Media LLC only, and not with Apple Inc. or Google LLC. Apple and Google are not responsible for the App or its content. To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither Apple nor Google has any warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the App. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you with respect to copies of the App obtained through the App Store. If you obtained the App from Google Play, your use is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after the new Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of them.
